Well that looks familiar...

A few days ago I posted a summary of a battle I was in on Reddit.

Yesterday a rewritten version appeared uncredited on TMC.

A snarky comment, that I appear to have written my first TMC article, was censored.

Ho hum.

  1. Ownership of your intellectual property is probably one of the articles of your contract when you signed for joining as a minion to the Goon Empire! Search it for "immortal soul" and "intellectual property" will be nearby.

Solution: awox their titan, take the bounty, join MoA or Pasta and fight for justice and freedom in the Northwest.

  2. EN24 is always looking for writers of battle reports, and they are very happy to grant credit where it is due.

  3. TMC is a for profit e-zine. Think about that next time you give them your stuff for free. They should at least pay you semi-professional rates which are .5 to 1 cent a word. But you know, the owner of that site sees himself as the largest provider of player content to EVE Online, so I'm sure he feels justified. However, I thought he was more professional than that. I just lost a shit-ton of respect for him though. Still, I doubt he gives a rats ass as he laughs all the way to the bank.

    1. Oh I know but I don't write for isk, I write because I enjoy writing. If I wanted to make isk I could sign up on their staff or CZ or EN 24, all of which pay isk to their writers.
